Melissa Troncoso, PhD, NP-C, CHWC, known as The Health Whisperer, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and research. Currently serving as the 1900D Nursing Research Specialty Leader and Assistant Specialty Leader at the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery since May 2022, Melissa also holds the position of Health Sciences Researcher at NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER PORTSMOUTH and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. With a history as a Family Nurse Practitioner in various roles, Melissa has significant experience in clinical management and nursing education, complemented by a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from the Uniformed Services University.
