Amr Azzam

Amr Azzam is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon and community development officer with extensive experience in various roles within the orthopedic field. Currently serving as the Community Development Officer at AO Foundation since February 2009, Amr also holds positions as a Regional Faculty Member at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since May 2021, and as a peer reviewer for multiple journals, including the CPQ Orthopaedic Journal and the Journal of Musculoskeletal Surgery and Research. Additionally, Amr is a mentor and certified peer reviewer in orthopaedic publications for Publons, and has taken on significant educational roles, including founding the Professional Diploma of Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and serving as Dean at the National Institute of Neuromotor System. Amr's educational background includes an M.D., a Master's degree in Orthopaedic Surgery, and an M.B.B.ch, all from Cairo University.
