Kimberly Porter

Kimberly Porter is an experienced professional in the field of epidemiology and data analysis, currently serving as a Senior Registry Analyst at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since February 2019. Prior to this role, Kimberly was a Senior Analyst (Epidemiologist) at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health from 2015 to 2018, focusing on data-driven projects related to health and transportation. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Kaiser Permanente (2010-2014), Kimberly conducted studies on prostate cancer, emphasizing race/ethnicity effects and data quality. Kimberly's early career included roles as a Predoctoral Cancer Research Fellow at the University of Illinois at Chicago (2007-2010), where dissertation research on brain tumors was conducted, and as a Cancer Information Analyst at the American College of Surgeons (2002-2007).
