Paul Fortunato

Paul Fortunato is an experienced project manager with extensive expertise in program management and leadership. Currently serving at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since October 2018, Paul successfully oversees learning and practice initiatives. Prior to this role, Paul held multiple positions at Chicago Cares from May 2014 to July 2018, including Program Manager for Special Events, where significant fundraising projects such as the Serve-a-thon were managed, and Program Manager for Corporate Programs, achieving high client satisfaction and revenue goals. Paul began a career in project coordination and support roles, including event support for Pillars Community Health and as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. Paul holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
