Sir Shefik MacAuley

Sir Shefik Macauley serves as Technical Lead for NBC Sports at NBCUniversal, overseeing the development of critical application-based systems for major global sporting events. With a strong commitment to community service, Macauley holds various leadership roles, including Ambassador for Comcast NBCUnites, Co-Lead of the OUT Employee Alliance, and a Steering Committee Member of the Black Employee Network. Additional contributions include film screening for the Woodstock Film Festival, judging roles at prestigious awards such as The Webby Awards and the Telly Awards, and co-founding CoWell Solutions to address health challenges during the COVID-19 crisis. Macauley is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
