Dave Emmons

Dave Emmons is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in application architecture and software development. Since September 2005, Dave has worked at American Airlines as a Principal Application Architect. Prior to this role, Dave served as an Application Software Advisor at Blockbuster Inc from November 2000 to April 2005, where advice was provided to the IT organization on software development practices while also acting as a Technical Architect. Earlier in Dave's career, from 1994 to 2000, a position as Sr Software Developer at BNSF Railway involved designing and developing object-oriented application software for pricing and transportation systems. Additionally, from 1987 to 1994, Dave worked at Bell Helicopter as a Sr Programmer/Analyst, focusing on application software for manufacturing and material systems. Dave holds a B.B.A. in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington, earned between 1980 and 1986.
