Leanne Risley

Leanne Risley is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in inflight program development and cabin operations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Inflight Program Development at American Airlines since September 2025, Leanne also holds the position of Cabin Operations Co-Chair for Aviation Safety InfoShare, representing industry interests in aviation safety and best practices. Prior roles include Learning Program Manager at Southwest Airlines and Director of Inflight at Hillwood Airways, where responsibilities encompassed cabin safety, inflight service, and staff training. Leanne's foundational experience at American Airlines spanned over two decades, during which various positions emphasized flight service safety and regulatory compliance. Leanne earned a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and completed a course in Safety Management Systems for Managers at the University of Southern California.
