Pekny

Ron Pekny is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and writing. Currently, Ron serves as a Freelance Author and Retired Engineer at R and J's Place since December 2018. Prior to that, Ron held the position of Director of Avionics & Shared Assets Engineering at American Airlines from May 1991, overseeing various engineering departments and co-op programs. Ron's career also includes a management role in Aircraft Engineering at Eastern Airlines from 1979 to 1991. Educationally, Ron earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1959 and 1964, as well as earlier studies at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1959 to 1962.
