Keni Sturgeon

Keni Sturgeon is an accomplished leader in the museum sector, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Association of Children's Museums since November 2021. With extensive experience on boards, including the ICICLE Fund and the Western Museums Association, Keni has held significant roles such as Executive Director at Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center and Vice President of Science Engagement & Outreach at Pacific Science Center. An adjunct instructor at the University of Oklahoma, Keni teaches graduate courses in museum studies. Keni's background includes a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on Museum Anthropology from Arizona State University, complemented by a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Illinois Chicago.
