Janice Trumpeter's work experience includes holding the positions of Director of Corporate Relations and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the American Animal Hospital Association from 1998 onwards. Prior to this, they worked at Ralston Purina Veterinary Division as a Veterinary Professional Technical Services from 1991 to 1998. Janice also worked as a Veterinarian at Alpine Animal Hospital from 1987 to 1990.
Janice Trumpeter attended Colorado State University from 1978 to 1985. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and DVM in Bioagricultural Sciences.
American Animal Hospital Association
The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals are champions for excellent pet health care. They voluntarily choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary care. Currently, over 3,600 small animal veterinary hospitals are accredited by AAHA. Consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA’s standards for services and facilities.
