Ady Arguelles-Sabatier

Ady Arguelles-Sabatier currently serves as the CEO and Executive Director of the American Anthropological Association since July 2023. Prior to this role, Arguelles-Sabatier co-led the Hispanics in Philanthropy initiative at the FIU Foundation Office of Inclusive Philanthropy from October 2021 to July 2023. With an extensive background in university advancement, Arguelles-Sabatier held multiple leadership positions at Florida International University from November 2015 to July 2023, including Senior Executive Director and Executive Director of Development for the College of Arts, Sciences & Education. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Business Development Officer for the Celebration of the Sea Foundation and consulting for various organizations. Arguelles-Sabatier’s educational background includes dual Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Anthropology from Florida International University.
