Alex Barker

Alex Barker has extensive experience in the field of archaeology and anthropology. Alex currently holds the position of Director at the Arkansas Archeological Survey, where they oversee research stations across the state. In addition, they are a Member of the Board of Directors at the School for Advanced Research. Previously, they served as President and Past President of the American Anthropological Association. Earlier in their career, Barker held directorial roles at the University of Missouri-Columbia and the Milwaukee Public Museum. Alex also worked as a Curator and Chief Curator at the Dallas Museum of Natural History.
