Shannon Haymond is the current Director at American Association for Clinical Chemistry. Shannon has a long and successful history in the medical field, starting with their work as a Senior Scientist at Nanosphere from January 2005 to December 2008. Shannon Haymond completed a post-doc in clinical chemistry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Shannon then earned a PhD in analytical chemistry from Michigan State University. Shannon completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned two BS degrees in chemistry.
