Tara Pinto

Tara Pinto has extensive experience in political outreach, development, and fundraising. Tara started their career in 2006 as the Deputy NYC Finance Director for the Spitzer Paterson 2006 campaign, where they successfully raised over $2 million in New York City. Tara later joined the Spitzer 2010 campaign as an Operations Manager, where they organized fundraising events and managed key political functions. In 2008, Tara became the Chief Operating Officer of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, overseeing fundraising, political departments, and operations. During their time there, they also assisted in Hurricane Sandy triage and implemented new operational email capabilities. Since 2014, Tara has been with the American Association for Justice, initially as the Associate Director of Political Outreach, then as the Director of Political Outreach, and finally as the Director of Political Outreach and Development. In their role, they supervised development staff and consultants, managed fundraising plans, and implemented engagement strategies for federal political projects. Tara has been instrumental in raising millions of dollars for various organizations throughout their career.

Tara Pinto obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. Tara then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Campaign Management at New York University. It is unknown whether they completed any additional education at Indiana University Bloomington as the start and end years are not provided.
