Rick Ramirez has a range of experience in finance, accounting, and human resources. Rick started their career as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 and then worked as an Operations Coordinator at Best Buy from 2007 to 2008. Rick then had a role as a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist at the North Texas Tollway Authority from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they worked as an Administrative Specialist II at Denton County, Texas from 2010 to 2011. Rick then transitioned into the field of human resources, working as a Human Resources Generalist at Denton County MHMR from 2011 to 2012, where they were responsible for recruitment, personnel changes, and handling sensitive claims. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Bilingual HR Generalist at Famsa, where they provided HR services for multiple locations and handled various HR functions. Rick then served as a Human Resources Administrator at CSM Bakery Products North America from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, Rick worked as an Accountant at Staff One, Inc. Recently, they have been working at AAMFT, starting as a Junior Accountant in 2018 and progressing to Senior Accountant, Director of Finance, and now Chief Financial Officer.
Rick Ramirez completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2006. Rick then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting and Information Management at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2011.

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. We represent the professional interests of more than 50,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada and abroad. Since our founding in 1942, the AAMFT has been involved with the problems, needs and changing patterns of couples and family relationships. The association leads the way to increasing understanding, research and education in the field of marriage and family therapy, and ensuring that the public's needs are met by trained practitioners. The AAMFT provides individuals with the tools and resources they need to succeed as marriage and family therapists.
