Matthew Brown

Matt Brown, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Diversified Healthcare Trust since October 2023. Previously, Matt has held various senior roles at The RMR Group, including Senior Vice President, Vice President of Accounting, Senior Director of Portfolio and Property Accounting, Regional Controller, Director of Financial Reporting, Assistant Controller, and Senior Accountant, beginning in October 2007. Additionally, Matt was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Office Properties Income Trust from June 2019 to September 2023 and worked as a Senior Accountant at Wolf & Company, P.C. from September 2004 to September 2007. Matt holds a BA and MSA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
