Jay Brodsky

Chief Information Officer at AAAS

Before joining AAAS, Jay Brodsky was Chief Digital Officer of AGU, an international nonprofit association supporting an inclusive community of Earth and space scientists and partners dedicated to discovery and solutions to societal challenges. His role entails building vision and technical capacity for this global association, using digital means to collaboratively advance and communicate science. He helped to oversee the consolidation of some 70 websites onto a singular digital experience platform and led the technical transition of AGU’s in-person meeting to a virtual, and then hybrid, meeting with more than 20,000 participants.

He currently serves on the board of directors of the Twin Valley Family of Companies, a Kansas-based telecom and technology concern, and as a leader of the DC Metro chapter of the Private Directors Association.

He holds a degree in computer science engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a master’s in cybersecurity strategy from The George Washington University.
