Jennifer C. Lai, MD/MBA, serves as a Professor of Medicine, Endowed Professor of Liver Health and Transplantation, and Director of UCSF Advancing Research in Clinical Hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where responsibilities include hepatology and liver transplantation. The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) is the nation’s premier organization of physicians, scientists, researchers, medical students, and healthcare professionals to study, prevent, and cure liver diseases.
