Michael Providence is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in volunteer engagement and management. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Patient Engagement at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases since September 2021, Michael previously held positions such as Volunteer Operations Manager at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Manager of Volunteer Training & Services at Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Michael has successfully planned and implemented training programs for hospice volunteers, increasing recruitment by 20%, and has actively collaborated with clinicians for new staff training.
