C. Edward Watson serves as the Vice President for Digital Innovation at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, providing leadership for national advocacy related to undergraduate student learning and advising on general education reform. Watson is also the Executive Editor of the International Journal of ePortfolio, focusing on the practices and pedagogies associated with ePortfolios in education, and previously held the same position at the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Watson's prior experience includes directing the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Georgia and holding various roles at Virginia Tech, where responsibilities encompassed instructional development, educational research, and technology integration in higher education. Watson earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech.
