Koren A. Bedeau, Ph.D., serves as the Director of the Faculty Leadership Development Program at the Center for the Advancement of STEM Leadership (CASL) since July 2022, where responsibilities include providing curricular guidance and overseeing coaching and mentoring for faculty fellows. Additionally, Bedeau holds the position of Senior Fellow at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, focusing on HBCU knowledge transfer and leadership development in STEM. Previous roles include Senior Associate Provost for Special Projects at The George Washington University and Senior Vice Provost for Academic Networks at Drexel University, where Bedeau led initiatives to enhance academic missions and support underrepresented student and faculty recruitment. Bedeau's career in higher education also includes experience as Associate Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Miami. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Mass Communication & Media Studies from Howard University, earned between 2006 and 2009, and a Master's degree from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2003.
