Martha Parham

Vice President, Marketing And Public Relations at American Association of Community Colleges

Martha Parham has extensive experience in marketing, public relations, and government relations. Martha held various roles at the American Association of Community Colleges, starting as the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations in 2015 and later becoming the Sr. Vice President of Public Relations. Martha also served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation Inc. since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at the Coast Community College District as the District Director of Public Affairs, Marketing & Government Relations from 2002 to 2015. Additionally, they were a Board Member of ACCCA from 2012 to 2014 and the Immediate Past President of CCPRO from 2002 to 2007. Martha began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Kaiser Compositek in 1994 before joining Walt Disney Imagineering as a Design Administrator.

Martha Parham completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Longwood University, from 1987 to 1991. Martha then pursued a Master of Arts degree in English from National University, from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, they earned an Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach, from 2008 to 2011.
