Sharon Burum

Sharon Burum has extensive experience in theatre, currently serving as Festival Commissioner for the American Association of Community Theatre since 2014 and as an independent theatre consultant since 2011. Sharon directs children's musicals for Hodgson's Studio of Music and Drama and directs plays for community theatre. Additionally, Sharon has been a board member and volunteer for the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association since 2003 and served as Past President and board member for Duncan Little Theatre from 1992 to 2015. Sharon worked as a theatre teacher at Duncan Public Schools from 1992 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Texas Tech University and a Master of Education in English from Cameron University.
