Matthew Biecker

Matthew Biecker has extensive work experience in the financial field. Matthew is currently the Chief Financial Officer at the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists since April 2023. Previously, they held the same role at the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) from December 2020 to March 2023.

From February 2015 to December 2020, Biecker served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Chicago Architecture Center, where they were responsible for managing a $20 million budget and overseeing various functions such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, and Facilities. Matthew also had regular financial communication with the Board of Directors.

Before that, Biecker worked at Morningstar, where they held multiple finance-related roles. From July 2013 to October 2014, they were the Director of Finance, Global Sales Operations, overseeing global sales operations and managing sales pipeline reports, commission processes, and sales-related expenses. From December 2001 to June 2013, they were the Director of Finance, Investment Research Division, responsible for division finance, conducting financial analysis, evaluating results, and strategic planning. Matthew also led the integration efforts for the finance function in acquired companies and analyzed acquisition targets.

Prior to their time at Morningstar, Biecker worked at Arc Worldwide as the Director of Financial Operations from August 1998 to November 2001. Matthew established the Client Finance function and implemented financial and time reporting systems, managed monthly revenue calculations, and conducted client profitability analysis.

Biecker's early career experience includes working as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from December 1995 to July 1998.

Matthew Biecker completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Matthew later pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, from 2004 to 2006.
