Betsy Orgodol

Betsy Orgodol, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Finance and Accounting at the American Association of Geographers, a position held since February 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, and serving as Controller at the American Historical Association from May 2015 to January 2022, where responsibilities encompassed the financial operations of the organization, including internal controls and GAAP financial statements preparation. Betsy also held roles as Operations Manager at Hapstak Demetriou+ PLLC and McLean Furniture Gallery, as well as Project Manager/International Liaison Officer at the Red Cross. Betsy earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics from the Institute of International Economics & Business between 2000 and 2004.
