Coline Dony

Coline Dony is a Senior Geography Researcher at the American Association of Geographers since June 2017, with prior experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in the Department of Geography and Environmental Systems. Dony has taught various courses, including Geography of Disease and Health and Advanced Application in Geographic Information Systems, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience includes serving as a Teaching Instructor and Graduate Assistant at UNC Charlotte, leading computer science instruction for high school students at Girls Who Code, and coordinating a USAID project with Optimal Solutions Group. Dony's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and multiple degrees in Geography and related fields from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
