Lisa Schamess

Lisa Schamess is currently the Director of Communications at the American Association of Geographers, after previously serving as the Communications Manager at The Congress for the New Urbanism. Before that, Lisa was the Founder of The Cooler Minds, LLC, and has also worked as a Writer & Teacher specializing in public policy writing and communications for various organizations. Lisa holds a MFA in Creative Writing from American University and a BFA in Theatre and English from Southern Methodist University.
