Angela Phelps

Angela Phelps possesses extensive experience in healthcare and management, currently serving as Manager of Phlebotomy at Owensboro Health since February 2013. Phelps has advanced through various roles including Phlebotomy Supervisor II, Phlebotomist, and Training Specialist at the same organization. In addition, Phelps has been a Medical Laboratory Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist with the American Society for Clinical Pathology since 2016, and a Certified Allied Health Instructor with American Medical Technologists since 2020. Phelps also holds a certification as a Medical Assistant from the American Association of Medical Assistants since 2019. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of Angela's Embroidery & Screen Printing until December 2018 and sales at Vincents Frame World from 1992 to 1998. Phelps is currently pursuing further education at the University of Louisville, following an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Allied Health and Medical Assisting Services from Owensboro Community and Technical College.
