Bree Barnett Dreyfuss

Bree Barnett Dreyfuss is the President of the Northern California/Nevada section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (NCNAAPT) since April 2012, where responsibilities include organizing biannual conferences and workshops to support physics educators at various academic levels. In addition, Bree serves as Vice President of Marketing, overseeing social media and outreach initiatives. As a Physics Teacher at Amador Valley High School since August 2005, Bree instructs courses including AP Physics and Physical Science. Bree also coordinates the STEP UP Ambassador Program for the American Association of Physics Teachers and has mentored new teachers through the Exploratorium Leadership Institute's New Teacher Institute. Educational achievements include a Master’s in Teacher Leadership from Saint Mary's College of California and multiple degrees from California State University, East Bay, encompassing a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Single Subject Science Teaching Credential.
