John Dean

John Dean currently serves as a Program Specialist for Environment at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) since January 2023. Prior to this role, John Dean worked as a Lab Assessor for AASHTO re:source from February 2019 to January 2023 and as a Field Technician at Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. from April 2018 to January 2019. Experience also includes serving as a Student Manager at the University of Maryland College Park from June 2016 to January 2018 and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Sociology from January 2016 to June 2016, where participation involved data entry and qualitative data compilation for sociological network studies. John Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy with a focus on Society & Environment from the University of Maryland, College Park, earned in 2017.
