Joung Lee

Joung Lee is an experienced transportation policy leader currently serving as the Deputy Director - Chief Policy Officer at AASHTO, a position held since June 2007, where Joung Lee oversees policy work with Congress and federal agencies while supporting AASHTO’s leadership teams. Prior experience includes roles at the Federal Highway Administration from June 2000 to May 2007, notably as a Transportation Planner responsible for Federal-Aid Highway Program planning in collaboration with various stakeholders. Joung Lee's educational background includes a Master of Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, along with study and training in urban planning and development.
