Jay Reyes

Jay Reyes, Esq. serves as Senior Counsel for the American Bar Association since November 2021 and holds the position of Attorney At Law at Riverside Law Group since February 2019, focusing on strategic transactions and litigation for government and business operations, particularly in real property and regulatory matters. Previous roles include serving as General Counsel for the Office of the Illinois Lieutenant Governor and Deputy General Counsel for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, where significant legislative reforms were achieved. Reyes has also provided legal counsel to various government entities and was featured in the Netflix documentary "Betting on Zero." An accomplished legal professional, Reyes holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield.
