Jim Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jim started their career as a News Writer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004. Jim then joined the Chicago Tribune Media Group and worked as a Copy Editor, Weekend Editor, and News Editor from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they moved to The Atlantic where they held positions as Editorial Projects Manager, Associate Director of Editorial, and finally as Director of Editorial until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at the American Bar Association first as Director of Digital Content and currently as Managing Director of Digital Content.

Jim Walsh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. In 2018, they completed a Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Marketing Communications from Georgetown University.
