Subhash Dhar

Subhash Dhar is the Chairman & CEO at American Battery Solutions. Subhash has over 25 years of experience in the energy storage industry.

Dhar has held various positions throughout their career. Subhash was the Chairman & CEO at Energy PowerCell LLC from April 2017 to November 2019. During their time there, they restructured the company and developed a new product for electric propulsion.

From January 2014 to April 2017, Dhar was the CEO & Board Member at Xalt Energy. Subhash successfully transitioned the company from research to commercial product development and manufacturing.

Dhar also served as the Founder, Chairman & CEO at Energy Power Systems from January 2011 to September 2015. Subhash developed new products and systems for electric propulsion and grid storage applications.

In January 2008, Dhar became a Board Member, Chairman & CEO at Envia Systems Inc. Subhash transitioned the company from research to commercial product development and manufacturing.

Dhar has also held the position of Senior Advisor at Plasma Drive Inc from January 2007 to December 2017. Subhash was also the CEO at PlasmaDrive Inc from January 2007 to December 2008.

From January 2006 to December 2007, Dhar was the President Ener1 Inc & Vice Chairman ENERDEL at Ener1, inc.

Lastly, Dhar served as the Chairman & CEO at IBTM LLC from January 2004 to November 2019.

Subhash Dhar received their masters in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit. Subhash also holds a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, and a BS in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Panjab University.
