Mitchell Dreier

Mitchell Dreier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mitchell is currently working as the Director of Engineering at American Battery Technology Company since July 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Tesla, including Manager of Factory Design - Gigafactory Nevada, Systems Engineering Manager - Global Infrastructure Design, Design Quality and Performance Lead - Gigafactory, and Staff Controls Engineer. At Tesla, they managed teams of engineers, developed factory designs, conducted design analysis, and drove continuous improvement.

Before joining Tesla, Mitchell worked at Honeywell as a Senior Supervisor in Gas Processing and Hydrogen, where they led a team of field engineers and developed internal training curriculums. Mitchell also worked as a Field Service & Controls Engineer in Hydrogen Technologies, focusing on process controls programming and field service for various projects.

Additionally, Mitchell gained experience at Virent Energy Systems as a Pilot Plant Operator / Assistant Engineer, where they performed pilot plant operations, experiment design, and data collection for biofuels development. Mitchell also supported the installation of bulk gas and utility systems.

Early in their career, Mitchell worked at SC Johnson in the Electrical Devices Test Lab, where they gained exposure to worldwide consumer products.

Mitchell Dreier earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mitchell attended the university from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, Mitchell obtained a certification in Honeywell Six Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell. No further information is available regarding their education history.
