Bruce Malone possesses extensive experience in both education and military service. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of History at Norwich University since March 2020, Bruce also holds the position of Cemetery Superintendent for the American Battle Monuments Commission, overseeing America’s largest military cemetery in Europe since August 2010. Additional roles include Cemetery Superintendent at L'Independante, Chef d'Orchestre, and Music Director at KMC OnStage. Bruce has a strong background in program management with the US Army Garrison in Kaiserslautern, having worked as a Mobilization and Deployment Program Manager and Program Support Assistant. Earlier experience includes serving as a Licensed Insurance Agent - Unit Leader at United American Insurance Company and holding various positions with the US Army School of Music and the 389th Army Band. Bruce holds three advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership and Military History, complemented by a Bachelor's in History and an Associate's degree in General Studies.

ABMC is an agency of the government of the United States of America and administers, operates and maintains 26 permanent American military cemeteries and 30 federal memorial, monuments and markers located in 17 foreign countries, the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the British Dependency of Gibraltar. Three of the memorials are located within the United States. These cemeteries and memorials, most of which commemorate the service and sacrifice of Americans who served in World War I and World II, are among the most beautiful and meticulously maintained shrines in the world.
