Rebecca Taguma

Rebecca Taguma is an accomplished leader in trauma healing and community development, currently serving as the Executive Director of both the Trauma Healing Institute and the American Bible Society's Trauma Healing program since February 2017. With extensive experience overseeing projects throughout the Americas, Rebecca focuses on integrating biblical wisdom with mental health practices to support those in need. Previous roles include curriculum coordination at LearnQuest, directorship at i-61 Ministries in Nicaragua, and various communications and public relations positions at organizations such as Family Impact and the Women's and Children's Alliance. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University and has a background in managing community initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty and addressing social issues, particularly in regions affected by HIV/AIDS.
