Erik Smith

Erik Smith, MD, is a highly experienced physician consultant currently associated with Veriheal since July 2020 and holds membership positions in several professional organizations, including the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists and the Society of Cannabis Clinicians. Having established their independent health consulting practice, Erik C. Smith, MD, LLC, in April 2014, Smith brings a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, having completed residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Medical Doctor degree from Howard University, a graduate certificate in Medical Cannabis Business and Industry from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Smith has also served in various capacities, including attending physician at TeamHealth and hospitalist at Ob Hospitalist Group, while maintaining longstanding memberships with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine.
