Michael Yunes

Michael Yunes currently serves as the Associate Executive Director of Radiation Oncology at the American Board of Radiology since January 2023. With extensive experience in radiation oncology, Michael has been the President and Partner at Pioneer Valley Radiation Oncology since July 2006, overseeing daily business operations, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Michael also holds the position of Chief of the Division of Radiation Oncology at Baystate Medical Center, where responsibilities include supporting patient care teams and leading projects such as the Electronic Medical Record Conversion. As an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate, Michael is involved in educational programs and IT capital investment assessments. Michael's clinical expertise encompasses specialties in Head & Neck, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Pediatrics, enhancing their impact in the field of radiation oncology. Michael holds an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and a BA in Biochemistry from Colby College.
