Lars Ivar Hagfors

Lars Ivar Hagfors has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Lars Ivar is currently working as a Seksjonsleder migrering / Head of data migration at Helseplattformen since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at SpareBank 1 SMN from 2016 to 2022, where they specialized in machine learning/predictive modeling, strategy, and management consulting. Lars Ivar was involved in projects using SAS tools and other technologies like Python/Tensorflow for deep learning classification and NLP models. From 2013 to 2016, Lars was a PHD Candidate in energy finance at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Lars started their career in 1998 as an IT Support staff at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Lars Ivar Hagfors has a diverse educational background. Lars Ivar began their education in 1997 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they obtained a Can.mag. degree in Informatics in 2001. Following this, they attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 2010, Lars pursued further education at NTNU Trondheim Business School, where they received a Master of Science (MSc) degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance, which was completed in 2012. Continuing their academic journey, they enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) once again in 2013 and accomplished a PhD in Finance and Managerial Economics in 2018. Apart from their academic pursuits, Lars Ivar Hagfors expanded their skill set by obtaining the Crossfit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2) certification from CrossFit, Inc. in January 2016.
