Derek Townsend

Derek Townsend is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, carpentry, sales, and military service. Currently serving as a Project Manager at American Building Contractors, Inc. since September 2017, Townsend previously worked as a subcontractor specializing in window and door installation at Express Staffing and contributed to woodworking projects at STAK Design as a carpenter. Prior to these roles, Townsend held positions in sales at McKinney Buick GMC and Illini Nissan and Subaru, and gained leadership experience as a Head Basketball Coach at Triple Play School. Townsend's military background includes serving in various roles in the United States Navy, such as Fire Crew Chief and Hospital Corpsman, demonstrating strong leadership and technical skills.
