Peter Higginbotham

Peter Higginbotham currently serves as the Area Operations Manager for the Gulf Coast at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), a position held since August 2013, following a series of roles within the organization that include Senior Principal Surveyor and Manager of Management Systems Certification for Western Hemisphere Operations. Peter has extensive experience in overseeing ABS survey operations across the Texas area and liaising with flag administrations and clients regarding certification processes. Previously, Peter managed the Corporate Total Quality Management department at ABS, ensuring compliance and conducting audits across global offices. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, earned between 1981 and 1985.
