Laura Roberts

Laura Roberts, CAE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at the American Burn Association since January 2020. In addition to this role, Laura has been the Principal at Roberts Professional Solutions since January 2010. Previous experience includes positions at the American Hospital Association overseeing Membership Services from June 2015 to December 2019, and serving as the Director of Membership & Community Relations at the National Association for Catering and Events from March 2014 to June 2015, where responsibilities included driving recruitment, retention, and engagement goals. Laura also held the position of Membership Manager at the Heart Rhythm Society from April 2008 to February 2014, focusing on member programs and recruitment strategies. Earlier in the career, Laura was the Conference Manager at the Healthy Teen Network from July 2004 to April 2008, managing all aspects of the annual conference. Laura earned a BA in Psychology along with a Certificate in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies from St. Mary's College of Maryland between 1999 and 2003.
