Scott Shaffer

Scott Shaffer is the Owner and Director of Shaffer's High Sierra Camp, Inc., where since January 2000, responsibilities include managing a summer camp operation comparable to running a small town, focusing on various departments such as finance, recreation, and public outreach. In addition, Scott has been a member of the American Camp Association since 2002 and has held multiple attorney positions, including at Fox Rothschild LLP as an attorney from July 2019 to April 2022 and K&L Gates from October 2008 to July 2019, where roles included Attorney and Special Projects Attorney. Prior legal experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Jackson & Wallace from 2002 to 2008 and as a case handling attorney in products liability at Perkins Coie LLP from May 2016 to March 2017. Academically, Scott earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, after completing a BA in Telecommunications & Film at San Diego State University and earlier studies at the University of California, Davis.
