Associate Director, Regional Media Advocacy at American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN)

Noe Streetman has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and media advocacy. Noe started their career as a PR Coordinator at Leopold Ketel & Partners, where they successfully secured local media coverage for the grand opening of the Animal Medical Learning Center. Noe then worked as a PR Account Coordinator at Conkling Fiskum & McCormick, providing PR assistance for clients such as Tillamook Cheese and the Oregon & SW Washington Chapter of Susan G. Komen.

Streetman then transitioned to the role of Communications Manager at the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, where they increased media coverage by 15% and secured stories in various prominent outlets. Noe later served as a Public Relations Manager at the National Psoriasis Foundation, overseeing all public relations, media relations, and social media for the nonprofit organization.

In 2015, Streetman joined the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) as a Senior Specialist, Media Advocacy. In this role, they were responsible for achieving TV, print, and radio stories across a multi-state region to advance public policies and legislation against cancer. Streetman managed media relations, coalition communications, and spokesperson training for high-profile campaigns.

Promoted within ACS CAN, Streetman became the Senior Regional Media Advocacy Manager. Noe developed and executed media advocacy campaigns across the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Northern California, and Hawaii to eliminate cancer and position ACS CAN as the leading cancer public policy organization. Noe mentored staff and achieved over 300 media stories in support of policy priorities.

Currently, Noe Streetman works as the Associate Director of Regional Media Advocacy at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, where they continue to lead and strategize media advocacy efforts.

Noe Streetman graduated from the University of Oregon in 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, Noe attended King Kekaulike High School.
