Dandy Garcia

Dandy Garcia serves as the Associate Director for Community Partnerships at the American Cancer Society since October 2023. Previously, Garcia held the position of Local Health Department Expansion Coordinator for the State of Indiana from July 2016 to November 2023, where efforts focused on expanding HIV prevention programs in rural areas through partnerships with stakeholders. Prior experience includes working as an Enrollment Specialist in the HIV/STD Division of the Indiana State Department of Health, where application reviews and eligibility determinations for the Ryan White Part B Program were conducted. Garcia's career in healthcare began at Shalom Health Care Center as an Enrollment Counselor, aiding applicants in securing health coverage programs. Educationally, Dandy Garcia is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Purdue Global, with completed degrees in Business Administration from ITT Technical Institute and Indiana University Indianapolis.
