Tanya Thabjan, MPP, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as program management within the health sector. Currently serving as Director of DEI - Learning & Development at the American Cancer Society, Tanya oversees the development and management of DEI learning initiatives for staff and volunteers. Prior to this role, Tanya held positions at the American Psychiatric Association, where responsibilities included establishing the LEAD Institute for psychiatry fellows and managing public education programs related to mental health. Additional experience includes program management for federally funded grants at the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy focusing on health policy from George Mason University and possesses a strong educational background in social sciences and international studies.
