Thelma D. Jones

Thelma D. Jones is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in breast cancer advocacy and education. As the Founder and Board Chair of the Thelma D. Jones Breast Cancer Fund since September 2012, Thelma has led initiatives to support breast cancer survivors. In addition, Thelma serves as DC Pink Divas at the Area Health Education Center and holds multiple roles within the American Cancer Society, including Certified Breast Health Educator and DC State Lead Ambassador. Thelma also organizes and facilitates a breast cancer support group in Southwest DC. A seasoned writer, Thelma has contributed as a staff writer for the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly since 1984. Previous experience includes a role as Community Breast Care Navigator for the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts and working as an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Thelma D.
