Charles Tan

Charles Tan currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income at American Century Investments, a position held since October 2018. Prior to this role, Charles held various leadership positions in fixed income at Aberdeen Asset Management from October 2005 to October 2018, including Head and Deputy Head of North American Fixed Income, as well as Senior Portfolio Manager. Charles began a career in finance at Moody's, serving as Vice President and Senior Analyst from October 1996 to September 2005, and previously worked as a Credit Analyst at First Commercial Bank from August 1994 to September 1996. Charles's academic background includes an MBA in Finance from Bucknell University and a degree in Economics with a focus on International Trade from the University of International Business and Economics. Additionally, Charles has experience as a Lecturer at Sichuan International Studies University from August 1990 to August 1992.
