Jamie Patel

Jamie Patel is the SVP, Chief Technology Officer at American Century Investments. Jamie has over 25 years of experience in the technology field. Jamie started their career as a software engineer at Rolls Royce and then transitioned into product management and software development at Sabre Corporation. In 2006, they became the Vice President of Development eCommerce Development at Sabre Airline Solutions. In this role, they managed the development of ecommerce solutions for over 50 airlines around the world. Jamie also led the launch of the company's mobile and tablet platform. Patel then transitioned to BMO Financial Group in October 2014 as CIO products and Shared services. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's IT products and shared services. Jamie left BMO Financial Group in October 2018 to join American Century Investments as SVP, Chief Technology Officer.

Jamie Patel completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from a university in the United Kingdom. Afterwards, they pursued a career in Computer Software Engineering and attended North Stafford University.

They are on a team with John Pak - General Counsel, Patrick Bannigan - EVP, CFO, and Diane Gallagher - SVP, Co-Chief People Officer. Jamie Patel reports to Jonathan Thomas, President, Chief Executive Officer.
